Krishi Vigyan Kendra Barnala of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University , Ludhiana organised a one day training program on Women’s Livestock Improvement with collaboration of RGR Cell Barnala in direction of Dr.Prahalad Singh Tanwar, Associate Director, KVK Barnala.Dr. Tanwar welcome to the participants and discussed KVK activities. He delivered lecture on the introduction of different breeds of cattle and buffalo and their identification and selection of the best animals for milk, feeding of mineral mixture. Clean milk production Dr.Yashwan Singh Professor, COVS, Rampura phul discussed on important of balance feeding to the dairy animal, preparation of balance ration for different categories of animal, colostrum feeding to calves, common disease and their control, Dr Suryendra Singh AP (Agronomy) discussed on production of green fodder round the year and salige preparation. Dr. Anjuly Sharma discussed the value of the addition of milk and milk products and the importance of the Self help group.Mr.Gurpreet Singh Walia , Area manager RGR Cell Barnala, Mr.Agyajeet Singh ,RGR Cell Barnala and other field staff were presented.
