Scientific advisory Committee meeting of Krishi vigyan Kendra, Barnala of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana is organised in guidance of Dr.Prahalad Singh Tanwar, Associate Director, KVK Barnala. Dr.R.S.Grewal , Director Extension Education, GADVASU, Chaired the meeting and Dr. Parminder Singh, Additional Director Extension Education were accompanied . Dr.Udaiveer Chahal ,Professor Department of Animal Nutrition, Dr. Daljeet Kaur, Associate Professor ,LPM,.Dr.Rahil Anurag Senior Scientist, CIPHET, Ludhiana, Dr. Karamjeet Singh, Deputy Director Animal Husbandry Barnala, S. Gurprit Singh , DDM, NABARD Barnala, Assistant Director Fisheries Barnala, Representative of Dairy Development, Department of Agriculture,Soil Conservation Barnala.Sh.Gurdev Ram Nimbhwala Mour progressive dairy farmer, S. Prem Singh Kaleke, S.Sukhdeep Karamgargh and other officials were present in this meeting. Dr. P.S.Tanwar welcome to Dr.R.S.Grewal and other members of the Committee and presented action taken report of decisions taken during last SAC Meeting, Achievements of KVK Barnala during 2025, Action plan for the year 2026- 27 was discussed in details. Dr.R.S.Grewal gave their valuable suggestions to improve the action plan. Other officials also contribute their suggestions. Director Extension Education also visited KVK Farm and demonstration units at KVK Handiaya. All the members of SAC were satisfied with activities under taken by KVK Barnala during 2025.The KVK staff Dr.Suryendra Singh AP ( Agronomy), Dr.Harjot Singh AP ( Horticulture), Dr.Anjuly Sharma AP( Home Science), Dr.Rajinder Kaur AP( Fisheries), Dr.Sanjay Kumar SMS ( Plant Protection) were also present in the meeting.
